Stephen Ministry

Someone to walk beside you during a difficult time in life.

Are you walking through a crisis or difficult time?

You are not alone; everyone goes through difficult times. Having a caring Christian to listen, plant a seed of hope, give encouragement and share God’s love can help you get through the confusion, stress or loneliness you may be experiencing. A Stephen Minister can help you on the road to hope, healing and wholeness. The Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another (John 15:17). Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive loving care and support.

What is a Stephen Minister?

Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation trained to give Christian care, support, and comfort to those who are going through a period of crisis or life difficulties. They typically meet with one person weekly as long as needed. They listen, explore feelings, pray and share God’s Word, share Christ’s love, and maintain confidentiality.
